Seven riders at the World's


Sieben Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team Fahrerinnen sind für die WM nominiert 22 September, 2008 – The UCI World Championships 2008 in Varese (Italy), the second season highlight after the Olympic Games in Beijing, will kick off soon. From 23rd to 28th of September 2008, 827 riders from 58 nations will measure their shape and fight for the medals in the time trial and the road race competitions. Seven of these riders are from the Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team. The following athletes were nominated from their national federation:

- Kristin Armstrong, USA (time trial & road race)
- Karin Thürig, SUI (time trial & road race)
- Christiane Soeder, AUT (time trial & road race)
- Pascale Schnider, SUI (time trial & reserve rider for road race)
- Patricia Schwager, SUI (road race) - Carla Ryan, AUS (road race)
- Emma Rickards, AUS (road race)

The time trial of the women’s will start on Wednesday 24th, at 2pm. The challenging course will be 25,15 km long and ends in the Hippodrome of Varese. The women’s road race over 138,80 km will take place on Saturday, 27th of September at 1 pm. For everybody who cannot be on-site, they have the possibility to watch the races live in TV, for example on Eurosport.
