14 September, 2008 – For the third time in a row, Karin Thürig (SUI) from Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team won the traditional time trial competition Chrono Champenois in the French city Betheny. The third of the Olympic time trial in Beijing took the victory on the 33 km course in a time of 44.42 min ahead of Loes Gunnewijk (NED) and Amber Neben (USA). That was a successful final rehearsal for the World Championships in one and a half week in Varese (ITA)!
But also both young Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team riders Pascale Schnider (SUI) and Carla Ryan (AUS) made a great performance and finished on positions 9th and 13th in the 2008 Chrono Champenois.
