Victory for Karin Thürig
7th September, 2008 –Karin Thürig (SUI), the bronze medalist of the Olympic time trail in Beijing showed today again a great performance. The 36-year-old athlete claimed victory in the 23,6km long time trial „Memorial Davide Fardelli“ in Rogno (ITA) with an advantage of over one minute to the Australian Vicki Whitelaw and the Swedish rider Susanne Ljungskog.
Already next weekend another traditional time trial race the “Chrono Champenois” will take place including starters from the Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team.
