Sarah Düster on the podium
4th September, 2008 – Over 113,2 km from Leek to Roden was the course of the third stage of the Holland Ladies Tour. Again the Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team riders were very active. Sarah Düster used her chance and broke out with a six rider strong leading group. In the finish sprint, only Anke Wichmann from Germany was a bit stronger than Sarah Düster (GER). The third place took Angela Hennig (GER), five seconds behind the winner. Emma Rickards (AUS), Patricia Schwager (SUI), Carla Ryan (AUS) and Pascale Schnider (SUI) reached the finish 1,46 seconds behind Wichmann in the peloton.
New in the leader jersey of the Holland Ladies Tour is Charlotte Becker (GER), who finished in the today’s race on fifth place. With Düster, Schnider and Ryan are at the moment three Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team rides among the top 16 in the current overall ranking.
