Place nine for Thürig
15. August 2008 - Karin Thürig from the Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team took in the today's track race over 3000 m pursuit the nineth place. The 36-year-old Thürig, who won the bronze medal in the time trial on Wednesday finished in a time of 3:40,862 min and edged out of a final place with only 1,3 seconds.
The sympathic Swiss rider was in the last year's focus on the road races/time trials and had only one day to recover from her bronze medal race on Wednesday.
