19 June, 2008 – Yesterday evening the third stage of the Grande Boucle Féminine Internationale finished after 90,2 km in Fourmies (FRA). Four riders of the Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cylcing Team reached the finish in the first group. Sarah Düster (GER) took again the fourth place, Christiane Soeder (AUT) finished fifth, Priska Doppmann (SUI) was ninth and Karin Thürig (SUI) followed on eleventh position.
Diane Ziliute from Lithuania claimed victory in the finish sprint. It was her second stage victory after the success in the first race. On second place finished Nicole Cook (GBR) while Loes Markerink (NED) took the third rank.
After the third stage, the Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team leads the team ranking and is with four rides among the top 10 in the overall ranking.
This afternoon the fourth stage from Montdidier to Drance over 108,5 km is on the schedule before the riders will move to the French Jura.
