4 June, 2008 – After the World Cup competition in Montreal the Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team continues their Tour in North-America and started yesterday in the Lehigh Valley Classics, the kick-off race of the „triple crown series“, in Allentown, Pennsylvania (USA). In the criterium over 25 miles (40,2 km) the riders were cycling in an offensive manner and attacked a lot.
At the end, the team was rewarded with the fourth place of Sarah Düster (GER) The race was won by Ina Yoko Teutenberg (GER, High Road) ahead the both US-American Laura van Gilder and Alison Powers. Kristin Armstrong, Priska Doppmann, Emma Rickards und Pascale Schnider reached the finish in the first group while Patricia Schwager crashed during the race and didn’t finish.
