Kristin Armstrong ranked sixth


Sechster Platz für Armstrong vom Cervélo-Lifeforce
30 March, 2008 – The day after her victory in the Italian region Tuscany, Kristin Armstrong showed again a strong performance and finished sixth. The 34-year-old American reached the finish line in the GP Costa Etrusca-Giro dei comuni Castellina M. MA- Santa Luce, a race over 108 km on the streets in the provinces Pisa and Livorno, only 8 seconds behind the winner Noemi Cantele.
The race was marked with numerous attacks, where especially the team Cervélo-Lifeforce were very active. At the end, a leading group of eight cyclists were formed, among them Kristin Armstrong.
 
Next Sunday, the Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team will continue their race program with the third World Cup competition of the season, the „Ronde van Vlaanderen / Tour des Flandres“ in Belgium.
